With the release of “Stitch Crashes Disney” series eleven, fans rushed to the site to get their own plushie which features a perfect combination of evil and sass. Series eleven featured a Neverland theme from the popular Disney classics Peter Pan and Peter Pan Returns to Neverland. After the plushie sold out in just a matter of days, there are a few big questions from fans who were not lucky enough to snag one—how much are they going for now on used sites, and is it worth the price?
Originally $30, the plushie is now going for $45-$50 on sites such as Poshmark (only $15-$20 above original retail price), while websites like eBay have the plushie listed for $50-$60. However, if you want the plushie still in its sealed plastic bag, it will cost you closer to $100. So, is it worth it, and if so, should you get it tagged and bagged- or skip the bag to save some money? Let’s start by diving into the details.
This plushie is approximately 12 inches tall and 8 inches across, making it a decent size. It also features a beautiful set of wings similar to Tinkerbell’s and a gorgeous print. The wings are made to look like a dress-up piece with straps but don’t worry, they are sewn to his back and won’t get lost! The print features many of the iconic logos from Peter Pan, including Captain Hook’s ship, the island, and Peter’s shadow. This Stitch plushie also features a silhouette of the ever feisty Tink blowing a kiss on his left ear and an official collection logo on his left foot.

Fun note for collectors- if you buy one from a used site, the logo on his foot is the most obvious differentiation between an original and a look-a-like. His stomach, back, and the inside of his ears are made of a soft, sparkly, faux suede fabric. The stitching is well done and unlikely to fray. For those who are collectors and would leave the tag on, it has some interesting facts inside as well, including “Stitch’s New Life Moto” (which changes with every series, of course)!
Overall, if you want to add this to your collection as a serious collector, it is worth getting it tagged and bagged. However, if it is meant as a toy or just a fun fan piece, it is definitely worth checking out Poshmark and other similar sites! Regardless of your reason to add it to your home, it is a beautiful and well-crafted piece, sure to be loved by Stitch and Peter Pan fans everywhere. Stay tuned for a review of series 12: Mulan.
